SAWATDEE! SABAI DEE MAI?

"Hello! How are you?" is the translation of my title in case you wanna know..
it's actually thai language!

I've been more excited in this one week long trip to thailand rather than going to hongkong. This trip was almost cancelled because of the red shirts rally but really i was eager to go there and asked mom that we have to push through even if her colleagues wont be able to come with us.

Headed to Manila May 4th and arrived around 4pm.
Good thing the flight wasn't delayed coz knowing 9pm was our flight to bangkok we might not get to the plane if our domestic flight was a bit delayed.

I can't get over the fact that i get to step on bangkok grounds already! the feeling was overwhelming and money can't pay the happiness that i've experienced there.

AT THE AIRPORT WAITING FOR OUR FLIGHT.

TOUCHDOWN THAILAND'S AIRPORT
(suvarnabhumi airport)
Let's have a recap....

5/5/10
1st day of mom's convention supposedly but anyhoo it was cancelled so its a free day for us. Wake up time 8am. had our breakfast on the 2nd floor coz we're situated on the 23rd floor talk about the view up there...whew, so relaxing!

outside the hotel with moms colleagues.

get to meet their "tuk-tuks" as our tricycle here in the philippines.

They have different colors of there taxi's there basing on what company they belong to.
Oh well, this pink taxi was our "car" whenever we're in bangkok.

5/6/10 (BANGKOK-GLOATING MARKET- TEMPLE OF DAWN-SRIRACHA TIGER ZOO)

Checked out at our bangkok hotel cause we're leaving for pattaya which is 2-3 hrs away from the city. Thereafter, proceeded to floating market (thanburi Klong)- On the morning tour, a long-tailed speedboat whisks you down to Chao phaya river and canals (khlongs) of Thonburi. You'll drift past "floating kitchens", mobile shops and alll kinds of colorful river scenery, before stopping at the enchanting Temple of Dawn which is what they call as Wat Arun.

I couldn't get a good shot of the Temple coz it was effin raining and i was too protectiive of shaylee that i dont want to get her wet. boo-hoo!

when thai's have problems they feed fishes to feed their hapiness too.

Afterwards had a 2 hr trip going to sriracha tiger zoo where in we had our lunch and get to taste a real crocodile meat. From the moment you stepped in, you can feel the natural atmosphere and watch hundred of tigers in there tiger playground.

my 1st to eat a crocodile meat.

fed the elephants..yay!

the pig knows which color he's gonna put each plate with the same color..coolness!

they had a formation.

that's a long jump!

This is SOW btw, see how sow can play a role of the tiger cubs' nany. She feeds them with her own milk along with the piglets.

HELD A TIGER AND THAT'S A FIRST!

MOM'S NAME ON THE BUS!

After the zoo trip headed to the Biggest Gem's world gallery at pattaya where in it was included in the guiness book world of record. Had a mini train inside where in they showed how they discovered the gems and the actual making of rings.

Arrived at our hotel around 6.

Dinner by the pool.
Watched (the show shall not be named) show on the other area of Pattaya where in all performers are gays which is way different from any other gays.. they're just so effin gourgeous..AND TAKE NOTE NO CAMERAS ALLOWED. but then i was able to take a few sneaks..lol
before the show..taking a picture with them costs like 40 bhat..so nevermind..lol

free drinks before the show!

Rode a MINI CAB the pattaya version going to the shopping district then we hafta walk back to the hotel coz it was a one way street. It's like walking from atrium to sarabia manor..That far, really! and we do that for 2 straight night during our stay at pattaya! it was rewarding though..

5/7/10 PATTAY-CORAL ISLAND- NONG NOOCH VILLAGE

Wake up call 7am. I woke up late, yet again. i slept around 1 (thai time zone) so that means its about 2am in our country. Had breakfast beside the pool again then proceeded to board a boat to Coral Island--the beautiful beach of Koh Larn- an idyllic island known as Coral island where we had Para Sailang and rode && drove a Jet Ski.. I never expected i'd do that this year but then again life is full of surprises. woot!

before PARA SAILING. my 2nd time but this time it was a bit extreme..u have to run to catch up with the speed boat then up you go..the feeling was unexplainable..haha!

this is kyla she's so lucky she get to experience para sailaing at the age of 8.
